The Merchant's Stone
Citrine is a yellow gemstone that has been carried by merchants and traders for centuries. They called it The Merchant's Stone, a talisman believed to bring prosperity and success in business. Vikings carried it on their trade routes across the north. Traders kept it in their cash boxes.
The stone's name comes from the Latin word citrus, and its color is the color of sun and gold.
We build AI systems that do the same thing the Lemonstone promised. We help businesses run better, grow faster, and operate with less friction. We just do it with AI instead of a stone in your pocket.
How we
got here
Lemonstone AI was founded by brothers Marcus and Johannes Olsson.
We come from the Swedish construction industry. For years, we developed residential properties. Large-scale housing projects with hundreds of moving parts, tight budgets, and deadlines that don't move. That's where we learned how to deliver: plan thoroughly, communicate clearly, put the right people in the right place, and don't leave the site until the client signs off.
Today we build AI systems instead of buildings. The output is different. The way we work isn't.
We still project-manage every delivery the same way we ran construction sites. We still keep budgets. We still hit deadlines. We still stand between the builder and the client. The difference is that our builders are now AI developers instead of contractors, and the result is a software system instead of an apartment complex.
What hasn't changed is how we treat the finished product. Just like a completed building goes through inspection, every system we deliver gets tested, reviewed, and refined until it works exactly as promised. We handle maintenance. We fix what needs fixing. And we don't walk away until you're satisfied.
